We are a passionate team of healthcare professionals, advocates, and families united by one mission — to empower every person living with CP in Kenya.
To provide comprehensive support, therapy, education, and advocacy for individuals living with cerebral palsy and their families across all 47 counties of Kenya — ensuring no one is left behind.
A Kenya where every person living with cerebral palsy has equal access to opportunities, services, and is fully included in society — living a life of dignity and purpose.
Ruai Cerebral Palsy was founded in 2020 by a group of parents and therapists in Nairobi who recognised a critical gap in support services for children with cerebral palsy. What started as a weekly support group of 12 families has grown into a nationally recognised organisation serving over 1,200 individuals across all of Nairobi.
We lead with empathy and kindness in every interaction with families and individuals.
Every person with CP deserves full participation in family, community, and society.
We uphold and protect the rights and dignity of all individuals living with CP.
Committed to evidence-based, high-quality therapy, education, and support services.
Building strong networks among families, caregivers, and professionals across Kenya.

12 passionate parents and 3 therapists founded our support group in Ruai, Nairobi — united by one vision: to empower every person with CP.
Word spread across Nairobi. More families joined our weekly meetings. We became a beacon of support, compassion, and shared strength.
As our community expanded, we expanded our services — adding therapy sessions, education workshops, and peer support groups for families.
Our first major community event brought together 50+ families and advocates, raising awareness and funds to expand therapy across counties.
Today, we serve communities nationwide through mobile clinics, trained health workers, and digital support — ensuring no child with CP is left behind.
We collaborate with government, international organisations, and the private sector to maximise our impact.
